The Milton Keynes Secondary Schools Finals were a huge success once more as the Marshall MK Lions hosted the games at Bletchley Leisure Centre.
The finals are a culmination of Tournaments held throughout November, December and January. Courtesy of Walton High School and Hazeley School, Tournaments were held for all the year groups producing the group winners to contest eight different Finals involving boys and girls.
Lions Director Of Basketball, Vince Macaulay commented “This is a tremendous occasion, it’s a chance for the youngsters to play on the big stage and a chance to thank the schools, PE Teachers, Milton Keynes Sports Development, the School Sports Partnership and the MK Schools Sports Federation. The afternoon saw some exciting basketball and there is no doubt that there is a pool there to further contribute to our National Junior Programme.”
